NI-DAQmx Error -50103 When Performing AI and AO With the NI-4461Hardware: Modular Instruments>>Dynamic Signal Acquisition and Analysis (DSA)>>PXI-4461
Problem: When I use the Multi-Device Sync-AI and AO-Shared Timebase & Trig-DSA shipping example or when I try to synchronize Analog Output (AO) and Analog Input (AI) on my NI 4461 Dynamic Signal Analyzer (DSA) card I receive the following error: Error -50103: The specified resource is reserved. The operation could not be completed as specified. What is causing this error, and how can I fix it? Solution: There is a known issue in NI-DAQmx versions 8.3 and 8.5 that causes this error to occur during simulataneous analog input and analog output on the NI-4461. This behavior has been resolved in NI-DAQmx 8.6 and later. You can download the newest version of the NI-DAQmx driver using the link below.
