Why Does My cRIO 9012 not Observe the Local Timezone?

Problem: I'm trying to configure the timezone on a cRIO-9012 by setting the local time and then setting the date. After I set the date, the local time has jumped forward X number of hours, where X is the hour difference between local time and UTC time.

Solution: To correctly configure the timezone, make sure you set the date first, then set the time.
