Selecting an Image to Display on the VGA Port from VBAI on the CVS Primary Software: Vision Builder for Automated InspectionPrimary Software Version: 2.6.1 Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A Secondary Software: N/A Hardware: Image Acquisition (IMAQ)>>Compact Vision System
Problem: When working with the Compact Vision System (CVS) and Vision Builder for Automated Inspection (VBAI) I acquired images from multiple cameras during my inspection. How do I control which image is output on the VGA output connector on the CVS from VBAI? Solution: The image displayed by the Compact Vision System (CVS) by Vision Builder for Automated Inspection (VBAI) is determined based on the last image stored in memory in the VBAI script. VBAI automatically sends the last image used in the inspection out of the VGA monitor connector on the CVS. In many VBAI applications, it is often useful to acquire multiple images from several IEEE 1394 firewire cameras on the CVS. You can use a step in the VBAI script to select an image from a previous step to load into memory. Once this image is loaded, VBAI will use the image in each successive step until the script ends or a new image is acquired. The image used in the last step in the VBAI script will display on a monitor once the script has finished execution.
