What is the Resolution of the VGA Output on the CVS and Can it be Modified?

Primary Software: Vision Builder for Automated Inspection
Primary Software Version: 2.0.2
Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A
Secondary Software: N/A
Hardware: Image Acquisition (IMAQ)>>Compact Vision System

Problem:
I am setting up a vision application where I will be using a Compact vision System (CVS) 145x and Vision Builder for Automated Inspection (VBAI). I want to select a monitor to connect to the VGA port and need to know what resolution is supported by the CVS. Will it just be a standard VGA output with a 800x600 sized screen?

Solution:
With the CVS and VBAI you can select from a number of different video options. In order to adjust these settings, open VBAI and on the menu bar go to Tools » Remote Target Options. Click on the Video Mode tab and you can then make the necessary adjustments.

The following table lists the possible resolutions for the video output:
Resolution
640x480
800x600
1024x768
1280x1024

Along with the various video resolutions, you can also select between various refresh rates, with a minimum of 60 Hz and a maximum of 85 Hz. Also, a color depth of up to 32-bits can be selected.
