Build Failed When Compiling a LabVIEW DSP VI that Contains a Boolean Control Typedef Primary Software: LabVIEW Modules>>DSP ModulePrimary Software Version: 1.0 Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A Secondary Software: N/A
Problem: When I try compiling a LabVIEW DSP VI that contains a boolean linked to a typedef, a build error occurs. When I take out the typedef, the error does not occur at all. Am I doing something wrong? Solution: This problem is a known issue with the LabVIEW Digital Signal Processing module. The only way to get around this error is by not using the typedef for boolean controls. This error affects versions 7.1 and 8.20 of the DSP module. When compiling the VI with a boolean typedef, the following screen will appear.
