Problem: I am using a device such as the USB-6525 which has multiple solid-state relays. Each relay is rated for 500 mA of current on the 6525. Can I combine them to allow more total current to pass through when the relays are closed? Solution: Yes, you can combine multiple channels of relays to reach the maximum 4 A current for the 6525 as long as the different relays are wired in parallel.
