Problem: I have a GPIB-1014 or VME-GPIB device. Is there a driver for these devices? Solution: There is a driver for the GPIB-1014 device for a Solaris 2 machine. Refer to the GPIB Installation/Configuration Troubleshooter link below to download this driver. If you are using the GPIB-1014 with any other operating system you will need to write your own driver using ESP-488 (C source code development kit). For information on ESP-488 refer to the ESP-488 Software Reference Manual for VxWorks and the GPIB-1014/1014D link below. If you are using the VME-GPIB device you will need to write your own driver regardless of which operating system you are using. You can do this with the NI-488DDK for VME-GPIB (driver development kit). This DDK is available as a package with the VME-GPIB. For information about this kit refer to the NI-488DDK Manuals link below.
