Why Do I Get a Developer Error When Running a LabVIEW Installer?

Problem:
I have used LabVIEW to make an installer, which includes at least one additional installer. Upon moving the generated files and running setup.exe, I get an error similar to the following:




How do I resolve this error?

Solution:
The most likely cause for this error is that you have not copied all of the necessary files generated by the installer to a new location on your development PC or onto your target PC.

In addition to the setup.exe file, ensure that you have copied the following folders to the target PC or destination folder:
  1. bin
  2. license
  3. supportfiles
