Problem: Can I use VISA 2.5 with AT-MXI-2 and Windows 95/98? I tried installing VISA 2.5 with the previously mentioned configuration and my VXI devices show up as 'unknown' in VISAIC. When I try to open a session to any of my devices I get error BFFF00A5 ("Interface type is valid but the specific interface number is not configured"). Solution: Yes, you can use VISA 2.5 with AT-MXI-2 on Windows 95/98. After installing VISA 2.5 copy the NIVXINT.DLL to both the C:\windows\system and C:\windows\system32 directories. Copying this DLL to these locations will get rid of the error in VISA when you try to open a session to devices in VISAIC or in other applications.
