Problem: I am using LabVIEW DSC to log data from shared variables bound to a PLC through an OPC server. I can see the variables update in both the OPC server and in the LabVIEW front panel, but the data is not being logged to my citadel database. Furthermore, the database which I configured in the Shared Variable Library's properties, is not even being created. Why is this happening and how can I fix this problem? Solution: This behavior is caused because the National Instruments Citadel Service is not running properly. In order to fix this problem, you must either start or restart the service.
