How do I Synchronize the Analog Input with the Analog Output on My DAQCard-1200?

Hardware: Legacy DAQ Devices>>Multifunction DAQ>>DAQCard-1200

Problem: My DAQCard does not have the RTSI bus, so how do I synchronize the analog input and analog output of my acquisition?

Solution: Follow these steps:

1. Set the channel clock for the analog input task for external clock, which uses EXTCONV (pin 40).
   
2. Configure one of the counters to generate a pulse train.
   
3. Route the counter output to the EXTCONV pin and to EXTUPDATE pin on your device.

The pulse train generated by the counter is both the channel clock and update clock of the DAQ device.
