Using imgMemLock and imgMemUnlock

Problem:
The textbased examples LL Ring and LL Sequence call the imgMemLock and imgMemUnlock functions, but there is no documentation saying how or when to use these functions. Do I need to call these functions for my image acquisition program to work?

Solution:
These functions are obsolete. They were required to handle memory when using the 1408 but now we have incorporated them into lower level functions and you do not need to explicitly call imgMemLock and imgMemUnlock.
