GPIB-ENET Issues with Solaris 2.8

Primary Software: Driver Software>>NI-488.2
Primary Software Version: 1.3
Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A
Secondary Software: N/A
Hardware: GPIB>>External Controllers/Convertors>>GPIB-ENET

Problem:
I'm using Solaris 2.8 with GPIB-ENET.  After entering the ibfind command, I enter an error state.  How can I correct this error?

Solution:
When using a GPIB-ENET with 488.2 driver version 1.3 for SunOS (Solaris 2.8), the GPIB-ENET device enters an error state following an ibfind command. The error reported by the LEDs on the device is 02, which corresponds to the ADDRESSERROREXIT error. The device can be successfully "pinged" before the ibfind command.

The problem is caused by some extra options that SUN added to their TCP/IP implementation. To fix this, type in the following command after the logging in as root:
    ndd -set /dev/tcp tcp_sack_permitted 0
