OPCClient Object Crashes in Lookout 4.0.1 build 51 when Creating an Alias in Edit Database Window

Problem: I am trying to connect to an OPC server with the Lookout OPCClient object. I can connect successfully, but when I try to create and alias in the Edit database configuration window Lookout crashes.

Solution: This problem was fixed in the attachment below. Follow these steps to properly replace the CBX file:

  1. Close Lookout
  2. Replace the CBX file in the Lookout folder
  3. Delete the lookout.dat file in the Lookout folder. This file will be automatically recreated.
  4. Launch Lookout and verify the functionality
