Using More Than One PCI-MXI-2 Card in the Same PC

Problem: Can I use more than one PCI-MXI-2 card in the same PC? Can I use a PCI-MXI-2 card in an embedded controller?

Solution: Yes. The NI-VXI 3.0 rearchitecture supports multiple VXI systems controlled by the same computer. You must install NI-VXI 3.0 or higher to use more than one PCI-MXI-2 card in the same PC.

NI-VXI 3.2 supports the use of a PCI-MXI-2 card in a PCI slot of a National Instruments embedded controller (VXIpc).

NI-VXI (version 2.1.1 and earlier) does not allow you to use more than one PCI-MXI-2 card per PC.
