Installation of CVI SQL Toolkit Results in Operating System Error 5

Problem: I am trying to install the CVI SQL Toolkit. When I run the installer, I get an operating system error 5.

Solution: The operating system error 5 is most likely a result of using spaces in the path name. You can work around this error by changing the installation default path prompt for LabWindows/CVI to use ~ codes in place of spaces.

For example, if the path is:

c:\program files\national instruments\cvi

you would change the path to:

c:\progra~1\nation~1\cvi.
