NI Switches and AC Wall Power Compatability

Hardware: SCXI>>Modules>>SCXI-1166

Problem:
Which NI Switches can be used to switch AC wall power? I tried using the SCXI 1166 to switch wall power, but it didn't operate as expected.

Solution:
Although the SCXI 1166 is rated for 125 VAC and would seemingly work for a 115 VAC wall outlet, the SCXI 1166 is rated for Measurement Category I (CAT I), while AC wall power outlets are generally Measurement Category II (CAT II).

PXI 2564	150V CAT II

SCXI 1160	250V CAT II
SCXI 1161	250V CAT II
