DASYLab Hint: Storing Global Strings and Variables with Measurement Data

Problem: How can I save the content of Global Variables and Strings that I typed in at start of the experiment, in the same file as the measurement data ?

Solution: Use the Write to Data File Header option in the Define String or Define Variable dialog. These options areonly available for ASCII and DASYLab data file formats and works exclusively for information that is in the string/variable immediately before the measurement starts. Changes to these placeholders after the file header is written will not be updated in the file header.
