Can I Set a User Defined Trigger Delay on a NI High-Speed Digitizer?

Problem: I'm using a NI 5102 and am trying to set the trigger delay using niScope Configure Trigger Edge.vi. When I run my application, I get the following error:

Why is this happening? Can I set the trigger delay?

Solution: The error message 0xBFFA0010 in this case is a result of trying to use functionality that does not exist for the digitizer in question. Trigger delay is not supported by all NI High Speed Digitizers.

The following support trigger delay:
  • NI 5112
  • NI 5122
  • NI 5124

    The following do not support trigger delay:
  • NI 5102
  • NI 5620
  • NI 5621
  • NI 5911
