I am using the LabVIEW 7.0 Evaluation Version or Full Development System. I would like to hide the frame and scrollbars of my subpanel. When I right-click on the subpanel, only Label and Caption are listed as options under Visible Items. Why can't I control the visibility of my subpanel frame and scrollbars?
The Evaluation Version of LabVIEW 7.0 is based on the Full Development System, which does not have these options. Below is a picture that shows the possible selections:
When using the Professional Development version of LabVIEW 7.0, the Visible Items menu looks different, as highlighted in the following picture:
In the LabVIEW Base package, you cannot place a subpanel from the palette, but you can run VIs containing subpanels. In the Full version, you can place subpanels but you are not able to access any control specific pop-up items. The scrollbars and frame visible items are examples of these control specific properties.
