Problem: SignalExpress Tektronix Edition (SignalExpress TE) does not function properly with TekVISA Solution: Older versions of TekVISA (earlier than 3.0) have not been designed to work with SignalExpress TE. Symptoms include initialization errors, hangs, blue screen, etc while attempting to communicate with hardware. To avoid these behaviors, the SignalExpress TE installer will overwrite older versions of TekVISA with latest version of NI-VISA. However, if you later reinstall TekVISA it will overwrite NI-VISA and cause SignalExpress TE to behave improperly. To solve this problem you must uninstall TekVISA and reinstall NI-VISA. You can do this by either reinstalling SignalExpress TE or by downloading and reinstalling NI-VISA from the National Instruments Drivers and Updates page. Related Links: Attachments:
