Default Configuration Mode For Measurements In VirtualBench-LoggerPrimary Software: Other NI Software>>VirtualBenchPrimary Software Version: 2.6 Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A Secondary Software: N/A
Problem: I am trying to log data using VirtualBench in Non-Reference Single Ended Mode. What is the default mode of measurement in VirtualBench-Logger and can this be changed? Solution: The default measurement mode in VirtualBench-Logger is Differential. This can be easily detected by connecting a non-zero signal to Channel 8 and logging the value of Channel 0 in VirtualBench-Logger. You will see that the signal measured from Channel 0 is distorted. This setting cannot be changed. However, you can connect bias resistors to enable measurement of Non-Reference Single Ended Signals. For instructions on how to connect bias resistors, refer to the field wiring and noise considerations tutorial at the end of this document.
