NI 9802 OpenFile/Write Method Creates an Unexpected Filename Entry Primary Software: LabVIEW Modules>>FPGA ModulePrimary Software Version: 8.5 Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A Secondary Software: N/A
Problem: When using a NI 9802 OpenFile/Write Method a filename entry is created unexpectedly. Why does this occur? Solution: The NI 9802 OpenFile/Write Methods will create a file that has the same name as a directory, if the directory name uses the NI 9802 file name convention (e.g. CRIO-XBB.BIN ). The NI 9802 requires that names, either file or directory, in a given folder must be unique. While in this state, the RT Mount SD method will fail to mount SD cards from Real-Time. To fix an SD card in the above state you must first run chkdsk on the SD card and then delete the conflicting file using the Delete Method.
