Problem: I am using a LabVIEW toolkit or VI Logger with LabVIEW 7.1. When I open a toolkit VI help topic and click the Find or Place button, why doesn't the button work? Solution: The help files for LabVIEW Internet Toolkit 6.0, LabVIEW Report Generation Toolkit 1.1, LabVIEW VI Analyzer Toolkit 1.0, LabVIEW Express VI Development Toolkit 1.0, and VI Logger 1.1.1 are compatible with LabVIEW 7 Express. Changes in LabVIEW 7.1 disabled the Find/Place button functionality for those help files. Windows Replace the VI reference help file for the toolkit you are using with the version attached below. The help files are located in the LabVIEW\help directory. Use the following list to determine which help files correspond with which products.
Mac OS or UNIX Replace the helpserver.js file, which enables Find/Place button functionality. The helpserver.js file is located in the LabVIEW\help\lvtoolkit\html\lvtoolkit_common directory, where lvtoolkit is the name of the toolkit you are using.Related Links: Attachments:
