Problem: When I right-click in Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) to install my PXI-1052 chassis through Traditional NI-DAQ (Legacy), I don't see an option to select PXI-1052. How do I add and configure my PXI-1052 chassis in MAX using Traditional NI-DAQ? Solution: The PXI-1052 chassis must be configured as a PXI-1011 chass in Traditional NI-DAQ. (The PXI-1011 was the predecessor to the PXI-1052.) After selecting PXI-1011 from the list of PXI chassis to add, follow the standard process of selecting the SCXI boards that you have installed since you need to configure the PXI-1052 as both the SCXI chassis and PXI system. The following screenshots illustrate the process of adding a PXI-1052 to MAX under Traditional NI-DAQ.
