Why is my AT-GPIB/TNT(PnP) not working in Windows 2000?

Hardware: GPIB>>Plug-in Controllers>>AT-GPIB/TNT (PnP)

Problem: I just installed the proper version of the 488.2 driver (1.7) and my AT-GPIB/TNT(PnP) board in my Windows 2000 machine. My board fails step three of the Getting Started Wizard: "Sequentially Verified." In order to troubleshoot, I go to device manager to shuffle some resources. However, no resources are being allocated to the board.

Solution: Go to the BIOS and set the Plug and Play Operating System option to "NO". If it is set to "YES", the BIOS will rely on Windows to allocate resources. This may not be dependable.

Before trying this, try basic troubleshooting such as trying your board in a different ISA slot and reinstalling the 488.2 driver.
