Installing LabVIEW State Diagram Toolkit 1.0 on LabVIEW 7.1

Problem: Originally I had LabVIEW 7.0 on my system with LabVIEW State Diagram Toolkit 1.0 installed. I recently upgraded to LabVIEW 7.1. After I run the setup for LabVIEW State Diagram Toolkit 1.0 none of its components show up in LabVIEW 7.1. How do I make LabVIEW State Diagram Toolkit 1.0 work with LabVIEW 7.1?

Solution: You need to copy a few folders from LabVIEW 7.0 directory to LabVIEW 7.1 directory.

1. Copy the folder titled "statemachine" from C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 7.0\resource\plugins to C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 7.1\resource\plugins

2. Copy the folder titled "statediagram" from C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 7.0\vi.lib\addons to C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 7.1\vi.lib\addons

3. Copy the folder titled "statediagram" from C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 7.0\examples to C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 7.1\examples
