Is There a Terminal Block for the SCXI Modules that Allows Distance Between the Terminal Block and the SCXI Chassis?

Hardware: SCXI>>Terminal Blocks

Problem:
I have a rack of SCXI chassis that I am using for many tests. Instead of changing the wiring on an SCXI terminal block, I would like to have a terminal block that allows me to change the connections next to my computer.

Solution:
The TBX Terminal Blocks for SCXI were made for this purpose. The table below shows the SCXI modules and their compatible terminal blocks. The complete data sheet for the TBX terminal blocks and cables can be found in Related Links.

 * The TBX-24F is a general-purpose feedthrough terminal block that you can use with any SCXI module or front mounting terminal blocks

The TBX terminal blocks work well to provide easy access to the SCXI modules. However, this configuration can introduce noise to the system, so check the accuracy specifications on the terminal block to make sure that it falls within your qualifications. Some changes in hardware and software can significantly reduce this noise. In hardware, use a shielded cable with the minimum length for your setup. In software, use averaging in your program. For more information see the Noise Reduction Tutorial below.
