NI Software Entry Not Appearing in Add/Remove Programs

Problem: How can I make National Instruments Software appear in Window's Add/Remove Programs so that I can modify, repair or uninstall it?

Solution:

1. Browse to [National Instruments]\Shared\NIUninstaller.
2. Run InstallValidator.exe.
3. Press OK on the following dialog:

 Origin of Problem

This issue may occur if you:

1. Install third-party software that includes NI software components.
2. Install NI Software with a setup.exe version earlier than 2.4.1.
3. Either remove InstallerValidator.exe from HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run or use anti-spyware software that blocks it.
