National Instruments cRIO-9014 Disk On Chip Change Notification Hardware: CompactRIO>>Controllers>>cRIO-9014
Problem: The cRIO-9014 revision G or later Real-Time Controller will be shipped with a different 2GB nonvolatile storage Disk On Chip than previous revisions. Solution: The original manufacturer of the 2GB Disk On Chip used for earlier revisions of the cRIO-9014 is no longer offering this product. This change will not affect the performance or functionality of any existing applications or software. The only action necessary to program a new cRIO-9014 with this new Disk On Chip is to update the NI-RIO driver to version 2.4.1 or higher on your host PC. You can update your NI-RIO driver by downloading it from ni.com/downloads and clicking on “Drivers and Updates”.
