Problem: I installed NI-HSDIO 1.4, and my computer does not have LabWindows/CVI installed. During the NI-HSDIO installation, I manually chose to install the LabWindows/CVI LabWindows/CVI components. Now, MAX hangs if I try to expand the software tree. How can I resolve this? Solution: If LabWindows/CVI is not installed and you manually choose to install the LabWindows/CVI NI-HSDIO components, NI-HSDIO 1.4 writes an invalid registry key. To fix this problem, remove the LabWindows/CVI components from the installation by completing the following steps:
