How Can I Add Language Support For an 8196 Controller With Embedded Software CD 1.3?

Primary Software: LabVIEW Modules>>Real-Time Module
Primary Software Version: 7.1
Primary Software Fixed Version: 8.0
Secondary Software: Driver Software>>NI-DAQmx
Hardware: PXI/CompactPCI>>Controllers>>PXI-8196 RT

Problem: Non-ASCII (For example Japanese) channel or task names for DAQmx are not supported without Language Support installed. This is available for other targets, but when I choose Install Software for an 8196, the language support component is not an option. Is this not available?

Solution: Navigate to the C:\Program Files\National Instruments\RT Images\Base\1.0 directory and replace the libiconv.cdf file with the attached version.

The problem is that a tag is missing from this XML file that informs MAX of which dll's and other files are available for which targets. This will not be a problem in future releases of LabVIEW Real-Time or the Embedded Software CD.
