"Error: Could not find compile information" after Compiling an FPGA VI

Problem:
After my FPGA VI is finished compiling instead of seeing the compile report I see the error message:

Could not find compile information.

Please check the Compile Server for more details.

However, the compile server report says that the bitstream generation is complete. How can I fix this problem?

Solution:
The FPGA Compile Server tries to create a new folder in the directory where your LabVIEW project file is located. If the directory is write protected this error can occur.


Workarounds: Save the FPGA VI and LabVIEW project in a folder which is not write-protected or change the permissions settings of the folder.
