Problem: Why do the NI-Downloader files disappear after I complete a download or click cancel? Solution: When you first download an NI-Downloader file from NI.com, you have the option to run or save the file. If you select save, the file will stay on your computer wherever you save the file. If you select run, the NI-Downloader will run from a temporary location and will be removed by Internet Explorer after it is no longer needed. If you cancel the NI-Downloader before the files have been completely downloaded you will be informed that any partial files will be deleted. To avoid losing downloaded data, do not cancel the download if your internet connection to the downloading file is lost. The NI-Downloader will resume the transfer of data once the connection is available.
