Problem: I am looking for the pinout diagrams for a specific switch module. I would like to know what pins correspond to certain channels and if the switch module can support more than one topology. Where can I find this information? Solution: This information can be found in two places. The first is in the Installation Guide for your terminal block. The second is in the NI Switches Help documentation, which installs with the NI-SWITCH driver on your computer. You can download this driver from the site in the Related Links section of this Knowledge Base. You can also download the help file seperately from the site linked in the Related Links section. Once the driver is installed on your computer, you can open the NI Switches Help Document by navigating to Programs» National Instruments» NI-SWITCH» Documentation» NI Switches Help. After opening the Help Document, the pinout images can be viewed by expanding NI-Switches Help» Devices» Your Switch Module » Signal Connections, as seen below for the PXI-2530.
