Which SCC Modules Can Be Cascaded or Used in Dual Stage Mode?

Hardware: SCC>>Carriers>>SC-2345

Problem: I want to perform two types of signal conditioning on my incoming signal and therefore want to cascade two SCC modules. What modules support a dual stage mode?

Solution: Some SCC modules support dual stage mode and others do not.

There are two stages to a dual stage mode. Most of the SCC modules support being in the first-stage of a dual stage analog input, however there are only a few that support being in the second stage. The table below shows the different SCC modules and what stages they support in a dual-stage configuration.

*NI-DAQ 6.9.x may not support software configuration of these modules in some dual-stage configurations.
**SCC-FT01 Modified refers to the same SCC-FT01 only customized using the given breadboard.
***The SCC-SG modules provide the excitation for the sensor, but the outputs from the sensor must only be connected to the first stage module in order to work properly.

Be sure to follow proper instructions when wiring two SCC modules in a dual-stage configuration. These instructions can be found in the SC-2345 User Manual which is linked below.
