Problem: My Compact Vision System (CVS) fails to completely reboot when I remove its network connection. Solution: To reboot the CVS without a network connection you must configure it to do so while it has a network connection. You can implement the needed configuration change in Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) by unchecking the box labeled Halt system if TCP/IP fails. After unchecking this box, click Apply. On the next startup, the CVS will finish booting after it fails to detect a network connection.
