Cabling Configuration in Measurement and Automation Explorer for SCXI Module Connected to an SCXI-1600 Hardware: SCXI>>Modules>>SCXI-1600
Problem: I have a module that I am digitizing with an SCXI-1600, but when I go into Measurement and Automation Explorer and run a test panel, the readings rail at one of the voltage extremes. I'm sure everything is connected correctly, I've verified that the module itself works, and I've verified that the 1600 is working correctly, so why aren't my readings correct? Solution: On thing that can cause this behavior is having the SCXI-1600 specified as both the device that the module is connected to AND the digitizing device. The SCXI-1600 should only be specified as the digitizer. The device connected to the module should be "none". This is done by going into the properties for the SCXI chassis, clicking on "Details" for the module, and going to the "Cabling" tab. Related Links: Attachments:
