Primary Software: LabVIEW Development Systems>>Full Development System
Primary Software Version: 6.1
Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A
Secondary Software: LabVIEW Toolkits>>Advanced Signal Processing Toolset, LabVIEW Development Systems>>Professional Development System

Problem: I have some non-stationary data that I want to analyze. How do I use the Continuous Wavelet Transform to produce a scalogram in LabVIEW?

Solution: You need to have the Signal Processing Toolset installed on your computer to do this.

Here are the steps:
1) Drop a scalogram on the front panel by going to Adv. Sig Processing » Scalogram.ctl.
2) On the block diagram, go to Adv. Sig Processing » Easy Level Wavelet » Easy Continuous Wavelet Transform.vi and drop it on the block diagram. Connect it to the Scalogram.
3) Right-click on the Scalogram and create a property node. Browse to XScale property » Offset And Multiplier » All elements. Add another property YScale » Flipped. Connect them as illustrated below.
