Printing Instrument Output in Multisim

Primary Software: Electronics Workbench>>Multisim
Primary Software Version: 12.0
Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A
Secondary Software: N/A

Problem: How do I print the output plots or data from my instruments?

Solution:
In Multisim, there are two ways that you can print the output from your Instruments. The options and how to access them is outlined below:

Print Instruments

After running a simulation, it is possible to print the output being displayed on the face of the instrument by going to File» Print Options » Print Instruments.

This will prompt you with a message asking which instruments you would like to print.

Check the instrument and click Print. Select the appropriate printer, setup the printer properties if necessary, and click OK.

Note: This will print any plot the instrument front panel is currently displaying.

Grapher View

Whenever an instrument is connected on a design and the simulation runs, the output displayed on the instrument is stored in the Grapher View. Printing from the Grapher View gives you more flexibility, as it allows you to edit the output zoom level, edit the axis etc. The output is generally larger than what can be displayed on the instrument face.

To print from the Grapher View, go to View » Grapher. Select the appropriate tab where your instrument output has been plotted.

Go to File » Print, select the appropriate printer and press Print.
