Missing IMAQ VIs in vi.lib

Problem:
I just installed Vision Acquisition Software 8.2.2, and now I am missing NI-IMAQ for IEEE-1394 VIs.  What happened?

Solution:
This error occurs in rare cases when installation is done in a certain order.  For example, the following scenario would generate this error:
  1. Install LabVIEW 8.2.1
  2. Install May 05 Driver CD
  3. Install February 05 Driver CD
  4. Install Vision Acquisition Software 8.2.2


What actually happens is that a bug in the installer for Vision Acquisition Software 8.2.2 causes the installer to remove certain shared components between IMAQ and IMAQ for IEEE-1394.  This issue has been corrected in newer versions of Vision Acquisition Software.

Simply repairing Vision Acquisition Software should fix the issue.
