Single-Ended BNC Connections for 64-Channel E-Series DevicesHardware: Legacy DAQ Devices>>Multifunction DAQ>>AT-MIO-64E-3
Problem: I have an E-Series device with 64 single-ended analog input channels (PCI-6071E, AT-MIO-64E-3, etc.). I would like to use BNC connectors to interface with all 64 channels. Do I have any options? Solution: Yes, the BNC-2080 (P/N 776579-90) offers 16 single-ended BNC connectors. This connector block was originally designed to be used with MIO-16 and PC-LPM-16 devices, but it can be used with E-Series devices. Since it has a 50-pin connector, if you want to use it with a standard 8 differential/16 single-ended channel E-Series device, you will need to use a 68M-50F adapter with a standard 68-pin cable, an SH6850 cable, or an R6850 cable. KnowledgeBase 16GFEP8U (link available below) discusses the signals that will be available on the BNC-2080. To access all 64 single-ended analog input channels of a 64-channel E-Series device, you can use an SC-2056 to interface with 4 BNC-2080s to obtain 64 single-ended BNC connections.
