How Do I Use the "Thermocouple Conversion Utility" in Measure?

Primary Software: Other NI Software>>Measure
Primary Software Version: 1.2
Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A
Secondary Software: N/A

Problem: I've noticed the "Thermocouple Conversion Utility" was installed with Measure 1.2c. How do I use this?

Solution: The Measure 1.2c Help File explains the usage of the Thermocouple Conversion Utility. Go to Help >> Measure in Excel. Click on the Thermocouple Conversion Utility link at the bottom of the list. Follow the instructions under Using the Thermocouple Conversion Routines to configure a cell (or group of cells) to use this function. Also note that in the Functions list in Excel, there is a Thermistor Conversion Utility that you can use if you are making Thermistor measurements.

Also note that the Thermocouple (or Thermistor) Conversion Utilities are not automatically installed in Measure 2.0 because Measure 2.0 supports the use of Virtual Channels from the Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX), you can simply configure a Virtual Channel for thermocouple or thermistor measurement. For more information about Virtual Channels, please read the Help in MAX. If you still desire the functionality of the conversion utilities in Measure 2.0, check out the KnowledgeBase entry in the Related Links section below.
