Why Can't I See My CAD Drawing in the NI Motion Assistant?

Primary Software: Motion Assistant
Primary Software Version: 2.2
Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A
Secondary Software: N/A

Problem:
I use the CAD Move in NI Motion Assistant to import a CAD drawing into my script. The file imports properly, but I don't see my drawing in either the 2D or the 3D Position View. Why does this happen and how can I fix this?

Solution:
You cannot see your CAD drawing in either the 2D or the 3D Position (X vs Y) View because the coordinate axes for the two views are not scaled properly. The following steps should fix this:
  1. Right-click in either the Position (X vs Y) View or the 3D View
  2. From the menu select Properties
  3. Navigate to the Scaling tab in the Properties window
  4. Enable the Scale the views automatically check box
  5. Click OK to finish

You should now see your CAD drawing in both the 2D and 3D Views.
