Error When Loading Step In TestStand: LoadTarget_VI.llb Used In Remote Calling Is Not Up To Date

Primary Software: TestStand
Primary Software Version: 3.5
Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A
Secondary Software: LabVIEW Development Systems>>Base Package

Problem:
When attempting to run a sequence that calls a VI on a remote computer, I receive the following error:

"Error loading step 'xx' in file 'xx'. The support VI C:\Program Files\National Instruments\Test Stand x.x\Adapter Support\LabVIEW\LoadTargetVI.llb\LoadTarget_VI.llb used in remote calling is not up to date."

Why is this occurring and how can I resolve this error?

Solution:
This occurs when a newer version of LabVIEW has been released since the latest release of TestStand. For example, TestStand 3.5 was released before LabVIEW 8.2. If you are trying to call a VI created in LabVIEW 8.2 on a remote system you will experience this error as TestStand is unaware of the existence of the new version of LabVIEW and does not immediately know how to call the VI created in 8.2.

To resolve this error, the LoadTarget_VI.llb must be mass compiled with the version of LabVIEW that the VI was created with. In the situation above the LoadTarget_VI.llb would need to be mass compiled with LabVIEW 8.2. Instructions on mass compiling can be found in the related links below.
