Problem: I am trying to convert my Vision Assistant script into a LabVIEW VI. When I try to use the Create LabVIEW VI tool under the tools menu, an error window appears telling me that National Instruments LabVIEW and IMAQ Vision not found. It also tells me that Migrating this inspection to LabVIEW requires that you have LabVIEW 6.1 or higher and IMAQ Vision 7.1 or higher installed on your machine.
I have LabVIEW 8.0 and IMAQ Vision 7.1.1 installed on my computer. How can I get Vision Assistant to find LabVIEW and Vision and convert my script into a VI? Solution: The reason you are receiving this error is because Vision Assistant cannot find the files needed to successfully migrate the script to LabVIEW. Either you have not installed Vision Assistant support for LabVIEW or have installed an incompatible version of Vision and LabVIEW. Vision software is compatible with the equivalent version of LabVIEW and two major versions back (for example: Vision 7.1 is compatible with LabVIEW 7.1, 7.0., and 6.1; Vision 8.2 is compatible with LabVIEW 8.2, 8.0, and 7.1).
