為什麼我的GPIB儀器對SCPI指令沒有回應?

問題:

我可以在匯流排上找到我的GPIB裝置，但是當我試著傳送 *IDN? 詢問指令時，儀器沒有回傳任何預期的結果。反而傳回電壓值、timeout error，或是錯誤報告。這是為什麼呢？

解答:

有些儀器不支援像是「*IDN?」這樣的標準 SCPI ( Standard Commands for Programmable Instrumentation) 指令，，因此當您傳送這種指令時，儀器會傳回不正確的訊息，或是完全無回應。舊型儀器與某些特殊儀器使用它們自己的指令集；相對於它們，Agilent 3478A、Fluke 8840A/42A 與某些儀器則可以使用SCPI 與 Agilent 的指令集。

您應該翻閱儀器的使用手冊來取得指令集的相關資訊。您也可以由Instrument Driver Network (IDNet)搜尋儀器的驅動程式。
