What Options Do I Have to Create a Lookout Application That Will Be Accessed Via a Touch Screen? Primary Software: LookoutPrimary Software Version: 6.0.2 Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A Secondary Software: N/A
Problem: I plan to create an application in which the user will interact with Lookout using a touch screen monitor. Does Lookout have a virtual keyboard? If so, how do I turn it on? Solution: Yes, Lookout does have an inbuilt virtual keyboard. To access the virtual keyboard, click on Options>System... from the user menu. Under the 'Virtual Keyboard Pops Up On' section, choose either 'Left Mouse Click' or 'Right Mouse Click'. Now when you add an object to your Control Panel, a virtual keyboard will pop up when you left click on that particular object (Note: Sometimes the first click will bring 'Enter New Value' box. When you click again, you will see the virtual keyboard). You can also use the Windows Virtual Keyboard which can be found by going to Start>Programs>Accessories>Accessibility>On-Screen Keyboard.
