Problem: I have LabVIEW 8.2.1 on my host PC, and drivers from Vision Acquisition CD 8.2.1. I am getting the following error when trying to install NI-IMAQ RT 3.7, NI-IMAQdx RT 3.0, and NI Vision RT 8.2 to a PXI-8106 Real-Time (RT) Controller.
The same software installs fine on a PXI-8187. How can I use Vision on my PXI 8106 RT controller? Solution: This is a known issue for Vision 8.2.1. You can either install Vision Acquisition Software 8.2.2 or patch the attached .cdf files. To patch the attached .cdf files: replace NIVisSVC.cdf and install.cdf in "C:\Program Files\National Instruments\RT Images\CommonVision" with the versions attached here. Related Links: Attachments:
