Stand-alone executables do not automatically use the preferences set in LabVIEW. How do I manually set the preferences?
Preferences for the LabVIEW development environment are stored in a preferences file. The settings in the preferences file affect many properties of the executable including fonts, thread configuration, front panel settings (such as smooth updates for indicators), and VISA settings (synchronous vs. asynchronous). Preferences for stand-alone executables created in LabVIEW can be set by creating a new preferences file with the same name as the executable.
